Healing Through Art!

I needed an outlet...Something That would take my mind away from the everyday chaos going on in the world today and from within. I'm an Army veteran, an empath, a 100% Introvert, and an artist at heart. At a very young age I've always loved expressing all forms of art from dancing, Acting class after school,painting,different cooking schools, drawing, creating different types of crafts for displaying in the house, Sound healing and Now trying my hand at Resin Art.I can remember staying over my grandparents' house during the week and I would get lost in drawing different types of faces and scenes from looking at a ceiling or wall that had a brown water stain or if I saw something in a puddle of  water I would draw it. My grandma use to get the Good House Keeping magazines and I would draw things from in there or from a Sunday Newspaper. Christmas my aunt Eleanor always knew just what to buy me.... A Crayola Crayons Caddy Creativity Kit back in the 80's. It bought me a lot of joy. So, I want to spread that same love and joy of art into the hearts of others.Especailly now. We all need love and compassion in this world. I tried my hand at opening a sound healing online business. But being an introvert and having to get out into society to promote a business was stressful, it challenged my comfort zone, and I went blind folded in without knowing anything about business education 101.So it flopped. Because of my fear of not being fully confident within myself and the fear of being in the spotlight in Society. I wasn't rolling up my sleeves and promoting my business enough. Also, not everyone has heard of Sound Healing and would consider looking into a session. And it was very costly to promote a business on Popular social media platforms. I was losing more than I was gaining profit. So, I decided to close that chapter keep the sound healing bowls to use for healing and grounding myself and my wife once and a while. I still wanted to bring love and joy to people in some way with art so one day I was on YouTube just strolling and looking at different things of interest when I came across a video of a woman using Resin Art to make key chains,booksmarks,coasters etc. Then the light bulb came on in my head. This is my next adventure. I then started to read up on it, buy books on resin art from Amazon and took several online short courses on Resin Art making. I started buying the Molds I was interested in making and other resin products to use. I decided to do this as a side gig and it's also like therapy for me.When I create with epoxy resin it takes my mind, body, and soul to a serene place. I want to spread love, joy and to make a small profit as well.
